Sinterklas is coming to town

Assalamu'alaikum 
Hi.... hi... it's me again, but now I don't wanna tell sad story like previous one :p cos... I think I had beautiful time though. So... today... no time to cry just making the most of life... :p and this time I will tell you about Sinterklas... okay... okay... I will tell more clearly ^_^  Why... I put Sinterklas is coming to town as this today's title? because there's Sinterklas here... today... this afternoon and people were celebrating it. But wait.... before I continue my story maybe some people is confused... and asking... what?? Sinterklas??? in this month??.. is it Sinterklas who comes from North Pole???

That was also in my thought when I heard it first time. I heard it when my colleague told about this person in lunch time about one or two months ago... and I also asked to her... does it Sinterklas come from North Pole? when she said Sinterklas was from Barcelona, Spain. Then I knew that this person is completely different with the one who always give present or gift for good and nice children at Christmas night. The one whom I mentioned last is known as Santa Claus... so... please remember it when you go to western country... and then you find this thing, it's different between Sinterklas and Santa Claus. And there is a time for Sinterklas comes town to town but I don't know clearly what he actually do... so don't ask me about this... ^_*

Okay... next how did I know about this special (for some people) time... it was just happened when we (me, Pak Aji and Elisa) were cycling to fish market in city center... and closed to canal, we saw a lot of people were watching something and we heard some sound... we thought there was a carnival and decided to go there... actually it was my decision this time ;P

Then... wow... it's in time... if we didn't go there... then we will miss this special time... cos maybe we will not be here next year or maybe still be here but don't have time... so it's the time... we saw many children were dressed up as black pit.. and it was wonderful... Here I post some pictures... as usual... so... hope you enjoy those pics... ^_^

Morning

Assalamu'alaikum

This morning was so... beautiful... and sky was so clear... you can see sun was shining and gave beautiful colour in the sky. But.... one thing I hate most is d***... this morning was so cold... the temperature was 5 Celsius degree... yeah.... I think most of people will say it's normal... but I'm not usual with this temperature... hope it will be okay... and I know I can survive *_^

So... I just took pictures this morning... not really like a professional one (photographer) but I just like it... take picture... when I found there is something unique, interesting, special... some kind of like that...

Second Presentation

Assalamu'alaikum

Alhamdulillah.... almost 8 months I am here... and do some experiments as my work. Yesterday... I gave a short talk in front of my big group. I've prepared it almost three weeks... and it'd been checked twice with my Prof. so... I think all have been ready... and so am I as well.

Then... when it turned into 9 o'clock in the morning... my heart beat faster and faster... but I'd try to calm down and said to myself... that no one know well about my work so I have to explained... and it works... but just for few slide... cos then my concentration was screwed. Someone just asked in middle of my talk... then everything was messed... I can't explained clearly... and my talk was miserable...(that was I thought)

But yeah... I know that there's something I can't changed quickly... so I can learn it from my experience... never give up...

It's already autumn

Assalamu'alaikum

Time flies... and sometimes we didn't realized but time goes by. It is already autumn... it means almost 8 months I've been here, in Groningen... Autumn... when leaves turn into brown and then falling down... winds blow... it's beautiful, but it can be pain beautiful... cos wind is not always blowing nicely.

Here I will post few pictures which I've been taken from beginning of Autumn until now... it's not still end of Autumn cos winter will come approximately on 21st Dec.... so Autumn.. here we are... and Winter... here we come ^_^
